A Glimpse of Bailey

Within seconds
It just whizzed away
I anticipated
The fascination

To glow
To spark
To flame
To blaze
Too robust

For my imagination
The jagged edge of craters
As it flew by the horizon

Biography

David Soriano is an associate professor of chemistry with the University of Pittsburgh's Bradford campus in Pa. He is married twenty- four years with two daughters, cat and year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. He enjoys the world of poetry and the people that are part of it. He enjoys poems about nature, time and altered states of consciousness.
