Charles Travis

Homo Sapien

He grew into the round
Belly of a man,
His balls hanging like stones.

Found a balance
On the edge of life,
His skull a gleaming globe of serenity.

Entropy & Response

Beyond my window,
Lies the entropy of brick and mortar,
A broken waste pile beaten back,
By the fierceness of dandelions and grass.
